At Parazone, you learn to fly in a welcoming setting, at your own pace, and always with a smile. Whether you’re curious, passionate, or looking for thrills, our team adapts to your level and your goals. Our training field is located right on our property, at the foot of Mount Yamaska—an iconic site for free flight in Quebec.

Introductory course
A 3-day course to get familiar with the sport—or try it out—and build the foundations you need for your first big flight.

Duration: 3 days (ideally consecutive, but we’re flexible)

Equipment: All equipment is provided as needed, as a rental. If you already have your own gear, check with the instructor to make sure it’s suitable for the training.

P2 course
The P2 course follows the introductory course. It teaches you how to analyze weather conditions, perform independent landings, and fly in thermal and dynamic conditions, so you can obtain your autonomous pilot license (P2).

Duration: varies depending on the student pilot’s availability. On average, it takes about 3 months to complete the course.

Estimated price: $3,500 to $4,000
P2 equivalency (ACVL)
Do you already fly abroad and want to obtain your ACVL P2 license? (In Canada, ACVL membership is required at many sites.)
We offer a P2 equivalency assessment. The goal is to verify your technique and knowledge to align you with ACVL standards.
