Paragliding
Can anyone go tandem paragliding?
Yes, if you can run a few meters during takeoff and landing. These are the most critical phases; the rest of the flight is spent sitting comfortably and securely strapped in.
Is there a minimum or maximum age for a tandem flight?
There is no strict limit. For minors, parental consent is required. The main thing is to be able to run and follow instructions.
Are there any weight or health restrictions?
Yes, weight ranges apply (varying based on equipment and wind). Certain medical conditions require a medical opinion. Contact us to confirm.
How long does a tandem flight last?
Expect 10 to 30 minutes in the air depending on conditions, plus preparation and briefing time (plan for 60–90 minutes total on-site).
What should I wear for a tandem flight?
Closed-toe running shoes, comfortable pants/shorts, a windbreaker depending on the season, and sunglasses. Helmet and harness are provided.
Do you often have to cancel due to the weather?
Paragliding is 100% weather-dependent. In case of strong winds, rain, or storms, we reschedule at no cost to another available date.
How long does the full training (P2) take?
It depends on your availability and the weather. In theory, everything could be done in 2 intensive weeks; in practice, it usually takes 2 to 3 months on average.

Where does the training take place?
All our activities take place on Mount Yamaska, a well-known site for paragliding in Quebec. This is where we offer training, tandem flights, and private coaching.
Who are the instructors?
Our instructors are certified by the Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association of Canada (HPAC) and have several years of experience in teaching and practicing paragliding. Their priority: your safety, your progress, and your enjoyment.
Do I need experience to start?
Not at all. Our courses are designed for complete beginners. The introductory training will allow you to learn the basics and complete your first high flight safely.
How much does training cost?

Introductory training (3 days): $800 + taxes

Equipment rental (if necessary): $100

P2 training (independent pilot license): $3,500 to $4,000 (depending on your pace)
For other types of training, please contact our team, who can provide a price based on your specific needs.
Is paragliding safe?
Yes. We follow all HPAC safety standards, use certified equipment, and adapt the progression to your level. The weather is rigorously assessed before each session.
Can I give a tandem flight as a gift?
Absolutely! You can purchase gift cards for tandem flights or training. An original idea to introduce your loved ones to paragliding.
